What's up with the WSOB Season III?

Anyone knows what is going on with the third season of the World Series of Backgammon (WSOB)? According to their website, WSOB directors will announce the third season tour during March 2009, starting with the UK Masters on a yet to be announced date. But according to my calendar, it is already April 2009.

The World Series of Backgammon was born as a television series, broadcasting the high stake backgammon tournament held in Cannes, France in July 2006, featuring the world's top backgammon players. The second season ran in 2008 January through July 2008 making three stops on the way (UK Masters, Nordic Open and Riviera Cup) and ending with the grande Cannes finale, with the victory of French fashion photographer Frederic Andrieu, who took home the €100,000 1st prize.

Already on its second season, the WSOB tour has rose above the Monte Carlo World Backgammon Championship and was marked as one the most important events in the field. The WSOB championship drew champions such as "Falafel" Natanzon, Lars Trabolt, Robert Koca and Francois Tardieu as competitors and John Clark and Gus Hansen as commentators. Where is it going next and is it taking the UK Masters with it?

Breaking News - the puzzle is solved: WSOB 3rd season to be announced on the Play65 Nordic Open
