Why bother making long, endless backgammon events summaries where you can summarize the highlights in 140 characters or less?

Followers of BIBA and Casinorip London Open backgammon tournament, held last weekend at the Doggett's Coat, could have learned in real time:

That Uli Koch is the new London backgammon champ, who beat Julian Fetterlein 2-0 in the main final, taking home £2,440 prize.

And that 56 players played the main division including Mochy, Jon Barnes, John Clark, Andy Bell, Carter Matiig and more.

And that Barry McAdam won the consolation flight (and £1,220) after defeating Jon Barnes, who had earlier defeated Sean Williams.

And that the last chance introduced a new format, the results of the auction and that backgammon was not played during the FA cup final.

Don't miss BIBA next event, the BIBA World Championship will be on 3-5 July with only £40 entry fees (registration included).
