Bright N' Breezy Backgammon Tournament WinnersJohn Hurst won the 12th Bright n' Breezy backgammon tournament held last January at the Old Ship Hotel in Brighton courtesy of Casinorip.com. It is Hurst's third win in this traditional BIBA event. He had previously championed Bright n' Breezy in 2006 and 2007.
Bright n' Breezy defending champion and John Hurst's regular rival, Mark Heidenfeld, was absent this year. Nevertheless, Hurst faced some tough competition including current UK backgammon champion Tony Lee, British Open Champion Ann Pocknell, and others. The second place was captured by Gerry Enslin, who, along with Hurst, tops Grand Prix points list with 24.77 points each.
