Backgammon in WonderlandWonderland is a blog about games. Though it typically approaches the crowd of MMORPGs fanatics and Quake addicts, it does not look down on casual games (or it does and I missed the punch). You can say that it is a blog about gamers culture, and as one it is very diversified, stretching arms to gadgets, T-shirts, movies, arts, crafts and hair styling. Which brings to mind another virtue of this blog: it constantly updates! Even if you narrow your search to "backgammon" (and you can count on us for doing so), you will not be disappointed. Though the backgammon game has not been reviewed or discussed in Wonderland, its reference in a comment led me to a brilliant post titled "The Dating Game", which explains how a MMODG, a Massively Multiplayer Online Dating Game (all rights reserved to Alice of Wonderland), can succeed where standard dating sites fail. Can an online backgammon room serve as a dating scene? Because theoretically, it has lots of potential, especially if you use the chat feature and take notes on the person's username and/or contact info. It worked well at least once, when Play65 married a same sex couple from the UK. Whether it is a true story or a fiction, it is so merry that you want to believe it is the truth. Update: online backgammon had bond at least one a couple of people. More about in our special backgammon and Valentine edition.
